Maintenance Manager integration with Console Cloud announced

MEDIA RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST
DATE: 29 April 2020
Brisbane, Australia

Console Cloud creators Console Group announce their integration with leading maintenance provider Maintenance Manager, owned by PropertySafe. Console Cloud is the fastest-growing cloud-based Property Management software platform in Australia and New Zealand. Maintenance Manager is a market leader in maintenance management software for property managers. It currently services the Australian and New Zealand real estate industry.

Faster, more efficient maintenance management

Managing maintenance has typically required property managers to coordinate activities between tenants, landlords, and tradies. This has caused innumerable headaches and games of phone tag. That's all about to change, however.

Console Cloud's developers have worked behind the scenes with the team at PropertySafe to bring Maintenance Manager into Console Cloud. Now, if you use Maintenance Manager and Console Cloud, you'll now be able to link your accounts. In Console Cloud, you can do this by activating the Maintenance Manager integration via our Marketplace tab. To learn more about how Marketplace works, check out our explanation in this article.

Harnessing the power of Maintenance Manager + Console Cloud

Maintenance Manager is known as one of the most advanced and trusted software solutions for maintenance. Console’s long-standing relationship with Maintenance Manager’s parent company PropertySafe has benefited thousands of property managers in Console's Gateway platform. So moving towards a Maintenance Manager integration in Console Cloud was a natural fit.

According to PropertySafe CEO Phil Oakes, Console and PropertySafe are, “Two like-minded businesses with a shared vision determined to push the boundaries and deliver superior solutions. This vision enables our mutual customers to be more successful and profitable.”

Console’s Chief Product Officer Matt McGown agrees. “Maintenance Manager has a proven track record. Their maintenance workflow dramatically improves the speed and efficiency of the process for property managers. When you couple that with the workflows built into Console Cloud, those customers gain a significant advantage.”

How the maintenance manager integration works with Console Cloud

Once you've linked your accounts by activating the Maintenance Manager integration in Marketplace, it's a cinch. Maintenance requests created in Console Cloud via the Console Tenant App or Console App will be routed automatically into Maintenance Manager. Maintenance jobs can be actioned as soon as they are created. This gives your agency a faster turnaround on maintenance tasks and saves your any double-handling of data.

Here’s a snapshot of how it works:

For transparency, the two systems (Console Cloud and Maintenance Manager) operate in real-time. They display identical information in both systems at all times, and will accurately report on the status of your maintenance jobs. “It really closes the loop on the maintenance workflow with quotes, work orders, and invoices all seamlessly communicated between our two systems. It gives the property manager more time savings in their day,” says McGown.

No longer do you need to wait for a maintenance job to be pushed to another system and appear. With no loss of time or double entry of data, you can move straight onto your next task.

Transforming your productivity

The Maintenance Manager integration in Console Cloud is now live and ready to use. Both companies are positive about the gains for customers.

“Managing maintenance is one of the largest workflows within a Property Management agency,” says Console CEO Charlie Holland. “By using a fully digital, end-to-end process that integrates directly into the accounts management side of Console Cloud, we can help our customers transform their productivity.”
