Free self-service web portal now offers

Console’s OnlineAgent free self-service web portal for real estate agency clients has been updated with a range of new features designed to increase the efficiency of agency-client communication and offer more to owners, vendors, tenants and creditors.
OnlineAgent gives clients the ability to log in and see information on their sale or rental property, drawing this information from the agency’s Gateway database. Instead of having to get in touch with their agency during office hours, they can view, search and download the details they need, from their own home or office computer.
The new features include the addition of a tradesperson section, where suppliers such as gardeners, plumbers or cleaners can log in and update their contact and bank details, view details of active and completed maintenance tasks, submit quotations and work orders and download their statements.
Agencies can now opt for clients to receive e-mail notifications such as rent reminders and the progress of maintenance requests. When a maintenance request is logged through OnlineAgent, the agency receives an e-mail containing the details, and shortcuts to send an e-mail to the tenant and owner.
Tenants can also source valuable information through OnlineAgent, with the addition of a Locality Details section which uses Google™ Maps to locate nearby shops, parks, hospitals and train stations.
OnlineAgent reduces the need for clients to contact the agency to access copies of statements, or enquire about the progress of activities at their property, increasing the efficiency of property management and sales administration departments and ensuring customers are kept informed.
OnlineAgent is free for subscribers to Gateway, the property management, sales management and trust accounting software of choice for more than 3,000 real estate agencies throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The latest version of Gateway – known as Gateway Live – has just been released and incorporates a number of new features that will undoubtedly expand on the unrivalled popularity of its predecessor.
